- Description: A complete Feandrea tower or a configurable Omlet system? Our two picks, their practical trade-offs and the size checks that matter.

## Our pick: Feandrea 160cm tree

Choose the Feandrea tower for a larger adult cat that climbs comfortably and fits its beds.

- A complete tower with two baskets and a cave.
- Removable bedding makes routine upkeep simpler.

**The catch:** Use the supplied wall attachment. The manufacturer-stated 40cm baskets will not fit every large cat; check their usable inside space first.

A large cat needs somewhere to put the rest of the cat. Height alone does not solve this. A tower can occupy half the room and still provide a bed that leaves the occupant spilling over the edges.

Choose the complete tower for a fixed layout in one purchase. Pay more for Omlet when you need to arrange the climbing route yourself and want separately sold components.

| Feandrea 160 cm cat tree | Our all-round starting pick: a complete tower with two hanging baskets, a cave and removable bedding. | Manufacturer-stated 50 × 50 cm base, 160 cm height; baskets extend beyond the base. Nominal basket diameter 40 cm. Must be attached to a wall. | [Check Feandrea on Amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C5QPZ3F6?tag=catstandard-21&ref=catstandard.co.uk) |
| Omlet Freestyle indoor system | Premium choice for configuring the height and arrangement of resting places and steps. | Requires suitable fixings. Platform frame is 56 × 56 cm externally; this is not the usable bed size or the whole tree’s footprint. Price depends on components. | [Build a Freestyle at Omlet](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=76702&awinaffid=2914431&clickref=catstandard-premium-furniture&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.omlet.co.uk%2Fshop%2Fcat%5Fproducts%2Ffreestyle-floor-to-ceiling-cat-tree-uk%2F&ref=catstandard.co.uk) |

The Feandrea offer was sold and dispatched by Amazon with UK stock and free delivery shown at our check. Omlet’s configurator sells individual components, so compare a finished basket with a finished tree. Confirm the current delivered total for your address at checkout.

## Best complete tower: Feandrea 160 cm cat tree

**Choose it if you want a conventional tower with several resting options, without pricing every shelf separately.** The exact model here is PCT003N01 in dove grey and cream white, sold under the CLAWFY range. Similar-looking Feandrea trees have different dimensions, so use that model when comparing listings.

The brand’s listing specifies two adjustable hanging baskets, a cave and a top perch. Its 40 cm nominal basket diameter is a useful first size filter. It also lists 11.1 cm diameter posts and a 22.6 kg product weight. Those specifications explain the substantial construction; they do not prove that every cat will fit or that an unanchored tower is safe.

Removable bedding is the other practical attraction. The top-perch cover and cave pad come off, and the listing identifies the pad as washable. The cave’s “self-warming” description refers to a passive reflective layer, rather than an electrically heated bed. Your cat is already supplying the heating.

**Attach it to the wall using the included anti-tip kit and follow the supplied assembly instructions.** The 50 × 50 cm figure describes the base: allow additional room for the baskets, their adjustment and a clear approach. We would choose it for a cat whose sleeping shape fits these resting areas, rather than buying on a breed label alone.

If your cat needs a much broader flat bed, or you need to set the distance between each climbing stage yourself, look at the modular option below. The Feandrea’s fixed layout is the compromise that comes with buying a complete tower.

## Best premium modular option: Omlet Freestyle

For the full buying verdict, read our [Omlet Freestyle review](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/omlet-freestyle-cat-tree-review/). To price a specific setup, use the [complete UK configuration cost guide](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/omlet-freestyle-cat-tree-cost-uk/).

Choose Freestyle to arrange the climbing route around your room and cat. Select the pole height, steps, platforms and other accessories individually. That control over the layout is the reason to pay more.

For a useful complete example, our **Top Cat configuration** contained a 2.15–2.60 m pole, base sisal rope, two yellow steps, a platform with cushion and a plant pot without a plant. The goods total was **£290**; the basket showed £6.49 standard UK delivery, giving **£296.49** before any postcode-specific change. This was a basket check on 2 October 2026, not a promise of today’s price.

The pole alone was £109 at that check. It was not a £109 finished cat tree. Start with the places your cat will stand, rest and scratch, then check that the basket includes the required brackets and fixing pack.

Omlet’s dimension drawing gives the platform’s outer frame as 56 × 56 cm and a step as 22 × 35 cm. Check the clear resting area inside the cushion edges before buying for a particularly broad cat. A larger outer frame does not automatically give the same amount of usable sleeping space.

**This is an attached indoor system, not a no-drill tension pole.** Check your ceiling height, the intended supporting surfaces and the required fixings in the [Omlet installation instructions](https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/cat%5Fproducts/freestyle-floor-to-ceiling-cat-tree-uk/support/?ref=catstandard.co.uk). If you cannot make the specified attachments, choose a different setup.

Match the indoor product and exact part when ordering replacements; our [replacement posts and pads guide](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/cat-tree-replacement-posts-pads/) explains the process. Check current availability before relying on a particular component.

## Check before buying

- **The cat’s resting space.** Compare your cat’s relaxed sleeping shape with the usable interior of the chosen bed. The Feandrea basket diameter is nominal; the Omlet frame measurement is external. Ask the retailer for clear inside dimensions if fit is close.
- **The whole layout.** Allow for overhanging baskets, turning, jumping and access for cleaning. Base size and pole diameter are not the complete floor-space requirement.
- **Fixing and access.** Both recommendations need attachment. Follow the exact model’s instructions and choose climbing intervals your cat can manage. A tall tower is the wrong purchase if your cat needs a low resting place.
- **The final basket.** Confirm model, colour, included bedding, brackets, delivery, return terms and the current total. For Omlet, save the configuration as well as the order confirmation.

## Which should you buy?

**Start with the Feandrea if its beds fit your cat and its fixed layout fits your room.** It supplies the main climbing and resting choices in one purchase. That is the sensible default before paying for a configurable system.

[Check the exact Feandrea model](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C5QPZ3F6?tag=catstandard-21&ref=catstandard.co.uk)

**Spend more on Omlet when you need control over the layout and want a system built from separate components.** Price the complete setup, confirm the mounting and compare the usable bed space. Buy the arrangement your cat can use now; you can leave the architectural masterplan until later.

Deciding between installation types? Compare [floor-to-ceiling and freestanding trees](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/floor-to-ceiling-vs-freestanding-cat-tree/), then use the [sizing worksheet](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/cat-tree-size-guide/) to check the whole arrangement.

## How we chose these options

This researched comparison uses the exact Feandrea Amazon listing, Omlet’s configurator and installation documents, and UK offer and basket checks dated 2 October 2026\. Dimensions are manufacturer-stated. We chose the options for their fit, layout, upkeep and complete cost; they are not hands-on test results.

We excluded options with unclear model identity, unsuitable delivery or insufficient fit information. Our [editorial standards](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/our-standards/) explain how we separate owner experience from researched guidance.

## Plan the rest of the setup

Once assembled, follow the [care instructions for the exact Feandrea or Omlet model](https://www.catstandard.co.uk/how-to-clean-cat-tree/). For the Feandrea PCT003N01, a removable perch cover and cave pad make access easier, but their own labels decide the wash method.
