Mario, a kitten adopted from the RSPCA’s Newbrook Animal Centre in Birmingham, is settling into a new home in Wombourne, South Staffordshire. The charity shared the update on 25 September.
His adopter, Devon Evitts, says he has taken well to family life alongside Pop, another cat adopted from the RSPCA. There is plenty of playing, plenty of sleeping, and a keen interest in whatever is happening on the screen.
The RSPCA describes Mario as a lookalike of the Nintendo character. Devon says that resemblance helped win the family over. He now sits beside her boyfriend’s desk during gaming sessions and has been watching the Grand Prix with them.
